stayed here a while ago and loved it, but this time with a group it was even better! Curro's castle tour was amazing and the homemade food was delicious. The breathtaking views and pet-friendly atmosphere made it a memorable visit.
Parking was a bit of a hassle.

The room we stayed in had a great seating area, which was perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day exploring. The air conditioning in the triple room was a lifesaver during the hot weather, keeping us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. We loved how soundproofed the room was, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The private entrance in the quadruple room added an extra level of privacy and convenience during our stay. The twin/double room surprised us with a microwave, making it easy for us to heat up leftovers or enjoy a quick snack.
Personally, we found the bathtub in the bathrooms a bit old-fashioned and would have preferred a modern shower instead. However, we understand that some guests might enjoy a relaxing soak in the tub.

The unique setting in a renovated castle was absolutely mind-blowing! My kid couldn't stop talking about it. The surrounding nature was fantastic, perfect for hiking, trail running, and cycling. Curro, our host, was amazing and even gave us a personal tour of the castle. The breakfast was incredibly tasty, although not extremely varied. Parking was available at a nearby public parking lot. The only downside was that loading/unloading luggage required a little extra effort due to the narrow stairs and steep driveway. For dinner, we recommend going to Tarazona for a guaranteed open restaurant. If you're interested in cultural visits, the Monasterio de Veruela is a must-see. our stay was super nice and authentic, making it the perfect stop on our journey from South-West France to Valencia. A big thank you to Curro!

Directions to the hotel could be better. Sat nav doesn't always work for exact directions.

From the moment we arrived, we felt like royalty with the owner, Francisco, treating us like family. He made our kids feel like true knights and princesses, even giving them a special tour of the cathedral. Language was no problem at all. The authentic castle experience, surrounded by beautiful countryside, was amazing. We loved that pets were welcome too! Francisco made sure to accommodate our gluten-free needs. The breakfast was lovely and the views from the castle were jaw-dropping. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the kitchen and washing machine. It was the perfect stopover on our way to Denia. Plus, the staff provided free wi-fi, off-site car park, and luggage storage. This place exceeded all our expectations!
